In this role, you will design, deploy, and manage the administration and implementation of all Impossible Food employee benefit programs. You will ensure IF innovates and adapts its benefits programs to support business goals, staying ahead of market trends and ensuring our rewards framework remains market leading. You will implement scalable solutions to drive business impact while inspiring talent.Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, and 10+ years work experience in Benefits, HR or consulting experience, with a minimum of 6 years working in a Benefits role
  • Alignment and commitment to our culture, which prioritizes leading with heart, standing up for what's right, and thinking like a scientist (in this case, a scientist focused on our rewards programs)
  • Experience in a fast-paced company with a vision to create scalable programs
  • Solid understanding and direct experience in benefit compliance activities
  • International benefits experience
  • Experience working with survey vendor data to develop benefits strategies
  • Experience creating and working with large data sets. Creating accurate spreadsheet-based analysis for deployment of programsPreferred Qualifications

      • Implement benefits practices to attract and retain our workforce. Your focus will encompass all stages of the employee experience - from external candidate to new employee to tenured employee
      • Create a multi-year framework on the employee value proposition, and how Impossible's benefits packages stay true to the company's mission. Analyze the effectiveness and utilization of existing benefits programs, providing recommendations for increasing employee delight within budgetary frameworks
      • Communicate our benefits packages to employees, candidates, HR and business leadership in an inspiring way aligned with Impossible's mission
      • Manage vendor relationships on benefit offerings and drive improvements in all relevant metrics, including cost, user engagement and efficiency
      • Lead multiple projects involving various internal and external partners
      • Benchmark benefits practices for all current and prospective international countries in which Impossible Foods operates, identifying vendors and providers in those countries to advance our employee interests
      • Administer billing and reconciliation initiatives with the Finance and People leadership teams. This includes reconciliation of level-funded plans with service providers to ensure precise billing.
      • Evaluate and recommend timing, decision and implications regarding a potential shift to a self-funded medical benefits plan for employees
      • Ensure deployed programs are accurate and work seamlessly across existing technology architecture, including Workday
      • Manage system and processing issues and collaborate closely with internal business partners on resolution. You will be responsible for benefits data related feeds flowing seamlessly between Workday and other relevant systems, including 401K, Payroll, the systems used by healthcare providers, etc.
      • Use data and analytics to inform key business decisions, and be able to communicate outcomes and recommendations to executives clearly and concisely
      • Closely collaborate with People team partners (Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, People Operations, Compensation) to inform the design and implementation of programs and initiatives
      • Provide partnerships to leaders across several functional groups on all things benefits-related
      • Create and work with large, scaled data sets. Creating efficient and accurate spreadsheet-based analyses for deployment of benefits.
      • Work closely with employees and business partners to resolve confidential enquiries
      • Ensure employee Leave of Absence activities, processes and compliance is robustly managed and communication is clear, timely and accurate.
