A part-time Physical Therapist position is available to support students across a K-12 school district serving preschool through high school levels. This role offers an opportunity to provide specialized therapy services to approximately 40 students across seven schools within the district. The position is contract-based for the current school year, with work scheduled between 18 to 22.5 hours weekly. Key Responsibilities: Deliver physical therapy services tailored to students individual needs, including both direct interventions and consultative support. Collaborate with educators and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly. Provide input on accessibility and assistive technology when needed. Communicate effectively with families, school staff, and administration to facilitate a supportive learning environment. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Licensed Physical Therapist with relevant state credentials. Experience in school-based physical therapy, preferably working with preschool through high school students. Strong understanding of pediatric physical therapy practices. Ability to manage caseloads involving consultative and direct service delivery. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Flexibility to work across multiple school sites within the district. Location: Primarily based in Pittsburg, CA, with services provided across seven schools in the district.
