SCIENTIST: MOLECULAR ENGINEERING, STRUCTURE-FUNCTION Adicet Bio is
seeking motivated individuals to advance gamma delta CAR-T
development by working at the interface of antibody discovery and
cell therapy development. The ideal candidate will be creative,
think outside the box, excited to learn, and enjoy working in a
collaborative environment that provides huge growth potential. Key
responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with teams across the Research department
on new target development projects in immuno-oncology
- Development/optimization/execution of extensive immune
cell-based assays for in vitro functional studies, including T
cell-based screening of CAR candidates
- Development/optimization/execution of cell-based assays to
investigate CAR structure-activity relationships involving
engineering and/or functional screening of CAR domains such as
hinges and costimulatory domains
- Data generation, data analysis, and communication to immediate
team and cross-functional teams Qualifications:
- BS, MS/MSc or PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology and
related disciplines
- 3+ years of relevant academic and/or industry experience
- Broad technical expertise working with antibodies and cell
therapies
- Hands-on tissue culture experience is required (maintaining
cell lines, handling primary cells, freezing and thawing cells is
required)
- Experience with cell-based assays such as T cell proliferation,
activation, in vitro cytotoxicity assays
- Hands-on experience with multi-color flow cytometry; experience
with phosphoflow is a plus
- Hands-on experience with fluorescence and luminescence-based
readouts using a plate reader
- Experience with automation of assays to increase throughput is
a plus
- Ability to delve into literature to drive assay
development
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced
environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills Adicet Bio

transparency law and in pursuit of pay equity and fairness, we
publish salary ranges for all open positions. The pay scale range
for this role is $100,000 - $152,000 annualized base salary. The
salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on
a variety of factors, including but not limited to, their
qualifications (education, experience, specialty, and training),
and peer and market data. This listed salary range represents the
Company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of
possible compensation at the time of posting.
