The Senza-- System, Senza II--- System, and the Senza-- Omnia--- System are the only SCS systems that deliver Nevro's proprietary HF10-- therapy.Job Summary & ResponsibilitiesNevro is currently seeking a Chief Compliance Officer. This individual is responsible for overseeing and managing Nevro's Corporate Compliance and Ethics Program both domestically and internationally and is responsible for the promotion of an on-going culture of compliance and prevention of illegal and unethical conduct. They will have excellent communication skills and act as a change agent to engender a culture of compliance within the Company. This position will report to Nevro's General Counsel and specifically be responsible for the following:* Manage a high functioning team that oversees the Company's Compliance function* Develop and manage the Company's Compliance Program, strategies, plans and budgets* Implement and periodically review/update written policies and procedures, including the Company's Code of Conduct* Maintain an effective compliance communication program for the organization, including promoting: (a) use of the compliance hotline; (b) heightened awareness of Code of Conduct and (c) understanding of new and existing compliance issues and related policies and procedures* Develop and execute on annual audit/monitoring plan and monitor the performance of the Compliance Program and related activities on a continuing basis, taking appropriate steps to improve effectiveness* Respond to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and Code of Conduct by evaluating or recommending the initiation of investigative procedures; collaborate with other departments to direct compliance issues to appropriate channels for investigation and resolution* Roll out and lead effective training programs across Commercial and other functions* Monitor activities of departments to remain abreast of the status of compliance activities and engage regularly with leaders across the Company to ensure that the Compliance organization has visibility to and is advising on Commercial and other organizational priorities* Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; develop and implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues and provide general guidance on how to avoid* Act as a strategic business partner for senior leadership on matters of major importance to the Company; provide reporting to senior management and lead quarterly compliance reviews

Role Requirements* At least 10 years of relevant experience required.Skills and Knowledge* Experience in the development, initiation, maintenance and revision of policies and procedures for the general operation of a compliance program and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct* Experience in and knowledge of industry standards and regulations for and risks facing a global medical device company, including anti-bribery, anti-corruption, 3rd party distributors, anti-kickback, off-label promotion, etc.* In-depth knowledge and understanding of compliance risk management practices and methodologies, including risk assessment, monitoring/surveillance, and testing activities* Multi-geographic experience preferred* Strong project management skills, including managing and prioritizing multiple concurrent projects, managing budgets and resources and reporting progress and risks to colleagues and senior management* Experience in conducting investigations and managing the entire investigations process, including the management, and tracking of the investigation lifecycle and the close-out process* Ability to act as a clearinghouse for compliance lessons learned and best practices* Experience in developing and maintaining effective lines of communication, including interacting with, and reporting out on compliance metrics and the compliance program generally to senior management and the management of a compliance hotline* Extremely detail oriented with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills* Managerial experience required#* #L#333333
