Job Description

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving product strategy, scope and design decisions using inputs from key stakeholders in R&D, Medical affairs, Regulatory, Clinical development, Marketing, Regulatory, and Reimbursement for Guardant Health's therapy selection liquid biopsy product portfolio. You will be a key member of product development core teams and will guide the team to ensure the right product is being made for the target market.

Partnering with scientists, medical affairs, clinical development, reimbursement and marketing, as well as key executive stakeholders, you will explore business opportunities, and build business cases to help the organization make decisions on its product portfolio.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Work with customer facing team members, R&D, regulatory, clinical to build customer and product requirements.
Partner with scientists, medical affairs, clinical development, reimbursement and marketing, as well as key executive stakeholders, you will explore business opportunities, and build business cases to help the organization make decisions on it's therapy selection and late stage therapy response product portfolio.
Perform research to understand the market, competition and customer needs.
Participate as a core team member on cross-functional product development core teams to guide development early in the design process and ensure that product design decisions meet customer needs.
Work with program management and cross-functional teams to understand all technical and non-technical bottlenecks and work with stakeholders to resolve them.
Build and own the product business case in collaboration with key stakeholders, and inform the P&L.
Participate in preparing for phase gate reviews and other go/no go decisions required by executive leadership.
Work with marketing and sales to develop commercial deployment models.

Qualifications
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in molecular diagnostics and oncology products.
In depth understanding of next generation sequencing technology and cancer biology
IVD, clinical trials / CDx experience strongly preferred
Track record of leading successful products
Ability to build and present strong business cases
Experience with technical and scientific cross-functional team leadership
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Education
MSc or higher in biology, engineering or related areas.

Additional Information

Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
