Translational Medicine Scientist, Quantitative Sciences (Scientist I to Associate Director level) at Revolution Medicines Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit high-value frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The company's R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding scientists in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway. The Opportunity: Playing a critical role as a Translational Medicine Scientist (Scientist I to Associate Director, dependent on experience) within Quantitative Sciences function under Clinical Development, the position will be responsible for developing and executing on molecular, immunological, pathological, and/or imaging biomarkers to improve understanding of disease biology, enable patient selection strategies, and evaluate response in cancer. This scientist will work on various projects in different phases of drug development from IND to NDA and will act as a key interface with the Translational Science team in Research and the Clinical team. As a Translational Medicine Scientist in Quantitative Sciences, you will: Develop and maintain translational and clinical biomarker strategies to support assets within RevMed portfolio. Support the development of biomarker related aspects of the trial design, including patient sample acquisition, study protocols, lab manuals, clinical study reports, trial site selection, investigator presentations and brochures and other regulatory documents. Work with internal translational groups, contract research organizations and collaborators to procure samples and deliver validated biomarker assays. Manage outsourcing to CROs, oversee development of the scope of work, budgets, and timelines. Work with biomarker data scientists to support analysis of biomarker readouts. Partner with an advisory network, form connections with KOLs and the biomarker community. Present Translational Medicine outputs to internal and external stakeholders. Required Experience, Skills, and Education: Ph.D is required. 2+ years of clinical biomarker and/or assay development experience in industry is required. Experience and track-record of the development, validation, and clinical implementation of biomarker readouts, including pathological readouts, genomic readouts and immunological readouts are required. Experience of working with Contract Research Organizations to deliver biomarker readouts is required. Excellent scientific and business communication skills, strong interpersonal/collaboration skills and planning skills. Ability to think critically and creatively and be able to work independently to determine appropriate resources for resolution of problems.
