This CRM Strategy leader will act as Talend's CRM Business Lead and will establish strategy, process and transformation across all stages of the customer journey within Salesforce, CPQ and all connected technologies. As a CRM leader, you will partner closely with Talend's IT team, and Business Transformation organization to build and manage the CRM roadmap on behalf of all the stakeholders and business units who leverage SFDC's technology. Together with IT, you will lead requirement gathering from the Businesses, enhancement and upgrade prioritization, reporting, data integrity, and seamless launches. You will co-own the relationship with SFDC on behalf of Talend's business units (Revenue, Customer Success, Marketing, Product). This role will maximize Salesforce process and mapping end to end. It is important that you can cast a vision for future Salesforce capabilities and tools while managing current ticket prioritization, ensure robust UA testing, and value measurement. You will be a trusted advisor to our customer facing teams, will help to improve business processes, and introduce new technology to improve operations. - Responsibilities...

  • Make the Opportunity to Close journey simple, fast, automated, and customer focused.
  • Develop, measure and manage the ongoing strategy of CRM/CPQ/ETM end-to-end while observing and defining how to optimize the customer buying process
  • Optimize all sales processes including the CPQ part of the system for optimal quoting, price calculation, order orchestration, provisioning & activation, revenue recognition, invoice generation, taxation, and payment processing.
  • Define best practices for all sales activities including holdovers, deal splits, global accounts with multiple opportunity owners, automation of reporting for commissions, etc.
  • Define and communicate a clear prioritization cadence for system development for all stakeholders, driven by business value add
  • Manage data integrity within SFDC for customer records. This includes managing the global Data Integrity team within the Revenue Operations organization
  • Work closely with cross functional business leads to understand and prioritize needs; define SFDC business requirements and roadmap in coordination with the IT team
  • Manage large projects for the Business units, such as our transformation to Salesforce Lightning
  • Manage the Revenue Operations SFDC Administrator who provides day-to-day hands-on functional support including, testing, training, and documentation to the users
  • Serve as a key subject matter expert on complex and/or critical business issues and processes with particular emphasis on CPQ and supporting processes.
  • Seek out ways to leverage the CPQ application and Salesforce platform to improve processes and productivity and make recommendations to support the rapid scaling of our high-growth organization.
  • Identify best practices for designing Price Rules, Product Rules, Product Hierarchy, Guided Selling, Product Bundling, Discounting, Product Setup and Configuration, Product Options, Quote Templates and Terms, and Advanced Approval Rules with ability to design for complex business use cases.
  • Effectively leverage CPQ-Salesforce configuration and technical/functional capabilities to meet stakeholder requirements. Work with the larger Salesforce team to design and deliver solutions for those requirements that is consistent with larger CPQ and Salesforce best practices and strategic direction.
  • Work in an agile and dynamic environment to facilitate timely responses to changing project requirements and customer objectives.
  • Regularly audit and proactively identify data integrity issues and/or opportunities for process improvement.

    • 12-15+ years of business experience in technology, sales operations, sales management or sales enablement with demonstrated process improvement work
    • Experience building and managing across business lines an optimized strategy that supports cross-functional teams, multiple product and service lines, and various sales motions (new sales, renewals, upsells, cross-sells, etc.)
    • Ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize those that are most critical and produce the most leverage.
    • Knowledgeable in the following tools or equivalent: FinancialForce, Netsuite, DocuSign, Marketo, JIRA
    • Ability to communicate clearly to business partners
    • Large CRM project management and configuration experience (automation, optimization, AI)
    • Strategic and analytical mindset to interpret trends, issues, and data to identify, develop and execute high impact sales programs and strategy
    • Ability to drive teamwork and urgency through exceptional leadership and communication skills
    • Passionate about automation and process improvement; experience in managing and driving collaboration between business and technology stakeholders
    • Strong organizational, communication, and project management SFDC requirements...
      • 5+ years of Salesforce platform experience, including a strong foundation in sales cloud, CPQ-Salesforce and Enterprise Territory Management
      • Mastery of all parts of Salesforce's configuration space, including native and custom objects, page layouts, validation rules, workflows, alerts, process builder actions, 3rd-party technology integrations, user management, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and security settings
