Benefits Manager

Job Description:

The Benefits Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing Poshmark's benefits program. In this role, you will lead the strategic design, implementation, and administration of our benefits offerings to ensure they are comprehensive and competitive while helping us find new ways to enhance the employee experience. Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic design, implementation and plan administration of Poshmark's benefits offerings
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand local benefit needs and external market competitiveness of Poshmark's global benefits offerings
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, and People Teams to implement new benefit programs
  • Manage end-to-end benefits administration including maintaining benefits invoicing, creating a global benefits strategy, internal audits, hosting benefits orientation, etc.
  • Complete all necessary compliance requirements (e.g. filing 5500, Non-discrimination testing, OSHA reporting, etc.)
  • Point of contact for leave of absences and workers' compensation
  • Provide benefits administrative support as needed
  • Understand our current processes and offerings, and identifying any gaps for improvement
  • Build a strong relationship with cross functional teams
  • Partner with our leaders to create a global benefits strategy
  • Partner with cross functional teams to deliver metrics and streamline processes
  • Support a project within the HR scope that impacts the employee lifecycle Requirements
    • 5+ years of benefits administration experience (global benefits a plus)
    • Strong attention to detail, working autonomously, and self-motivated -
    • Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, PPACA, and federal and state laws regarding benefits (e.g. ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, etc.)
    • Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets
    • Manages vendor relationships and performance. Review and provide feedback related to data analytics in the research of market trends, benefits surveys and stay abreast of emerging benefits trends to maintain a competitive benefits portfolio
    • Leads, plans and manages effective communications and education of benefits (including time off policies, open enrollment, wellness etc)
    • Proven track record in directing staff/consultants and negotiating contracts/agreements.
    • Experience leading and driving benefits programs in a multinational company
    • Advanced knowledge in benefits plan design and administration
    • Ability to take initiative, adapt to changes in the work environment and deal with frequent change or unexpected events
