Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience5 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, sales operations, or a similar advisory role in a technology or media companyExperience leading operational initiatives involving cross-functional teams and managing executive stakeholdersExperience developing and influencing business strategies and solving issues across an organizationPreferred qualifications:Master's degree or MBA in a quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance)Experience using SQL and working with large data sets to deliver actionable insights and recommendationsExperience working with sales organizations and best practices (e.g., structure, incentives, tools, etc.)Understanding of small/medium business segment and its needs and challengesAbility to drive impact in a fast-paced environment with excellent leadership skills Ability to take complex, ambiguous topics and turn them into compelling narratives for different audiences with excellent communication and presentation skills About the job The Partnerships Strategy and Operations (PSO) team provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future growth initiatives.Channel Partner Sales works with companies who bundle and integrate Google Ads products with their own, to deliver value to their customer base. We partner with technology platform companies, including eCommerce, Ad Tech, and Marketing Automation segments, among others, who serve customers primarily through their online offerings.As a Strategy and Operations Manager, you will help to set the strategy and ensure implementation of the go-to-market for Google's Channel Partner business. You will help design and plan for programs that generate incremental business growth for Google. Our team works in partnership with cross-functional teams across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Engineering.When our millions of advertisers and publishers are happy, so are we! Our Google Customer Solutions (GCS) team of entrepreneurial, enthusiastic and client-focused members are the "human face" of Google, helping entrepreneurs both individually and broadly build their online presence and grow their businesses. We are dedicated to growing the unique needs of advertising companies. Our teams of strategists, analysts, advisers and support specialists collaborate closely to spot and analyze customer needs and trends. In collaboration, we create and implement business plans broadly for all types of businesses. Responsibilities Build annual regional business plan around strategic business growth forecast. Develop innovative strategies and solutions to accelerate business growth, and design business initiatives to capture growth opportunities locally and globally.Identify opportunities for program and process improvement, with a focus on driving business growth. Lead and manage the successful execution of global programs within the region.Work with cross-functional teams to design and execute projects, driving recommendations through to implementation.Own strategy and execution for select global enablement priorities, partnering closely with your peers in other regions, and your colleagues in Program Design, Operations, and Partner Incentives.Partner with the Channel Partner Sales leadership to identify strategic opportunities for business growth and drive business execution efficiency. Communicate findings to leadership and to a broader set of stakeholders by preparing presentations.
This role may also be located in our Playa Vista, CA campus.
