Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology
company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit
high-value frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The company's
R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress
diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion
Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. As a new
member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other
outstanding scientists in a tireless commitment to patients with
cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.The
Opportunity:This is an exciting Program Management opportunity to
partner and assist PM Lead to advance one of the first RAS(ON)
inhibitors from Revolution Medicines with an ambition to establish
this asset as a first-in-class Oncology drug. An ideal candidate
for this position will have strong self-motivation and drive to
partner broadly within clinical and allied teams to bring this
investigational asset to patients. We are seeking an experienced
Project Management professional with demonstrated ability to manage
clinical development projects from Phase 1/First-in-Human to Phase
2/Proof-of-Concept and follow-on pivotal/registrational studies.
This individual will work closely with PM Lead and Clinical Sub
Team Lead (CSTL) to define clinical strategy to meet corporate
goals, develop clinical project plans, and implement plans to meet
clinical study objectives. Initially, this role would also include
assisting the Phase 1 clinical study execution team with PM
expertise. As the clinical program matures, the role has the
potential to grow into a PM Lead role for one or more indications.
The successful candidate will draw upon their experience to: ---
Partner with the PM Lead and CSTL(s) in defining program's clinical
strategy for the specific project TPPs. --- Along with each CSTL,
accountable for managing clinical strategy/execution within
Clinical Sub Teams as defined by program governance and strategic
imperatives. --- Establish and maintain functionally integrated
clinical project plan(s), accounting for goals, key objectives,
deliverables, and risks. --- Ensure identification and management
of clinical risks and mitigation plans, and reporting these to the
global development program team. --- Evaluate alternative clinical
study scenarios (comprising costs, timelines, and risks) during
progression of the clinical program through stage gates and as per
business need. --- Lead the clinical strategy/execution team(s)
through the preparation and update of key relevant documents and
communications as needed. --- Lead an efficient information flow
within the clinical team, and global development program team. ---
Partner with the CSTL to provide proactive leadership and ensure
the team(s) achieve and maintain a high-level of sustainable
performance, by applying appropriate team management best
practices. --- Practice effective meeting and information
management including, timely meeting agendas and minutes,
facilitate sub team meetings, follow up on action items, document
meeting materials and decisions, and act as a primary contact for
clinical strategy/execution team related information. --- Identify,
recommend, and implement opportunities for streamlining sub team
and business processes. --- Participate in establishment and
implementation of project management systems and best
practices.Required Experience, Skills, and Education:Ideal
candidate will have the following experience and be able to
demonstrate the following: --- B.A. or BSc. in Life Sciences with a
MSc. or MBA or Ph.D. a plus, and at least 6 years' experience in
the biotech/pharmaceutical industry with at least 3+ years' direct
development/clinical project management experience managing
cross-functional clinical / development teams. --- Experience in
clinical stages of drug development is required. --- PMP (Project
Management Professional) or other PM certification or equivalent is
a plus. --- Experience in Oncology therapeutic area is strongly
preferrable. --- Experience in global (US, Ex-US) drug development
teams, and regulatory components is strongly preferable. ---
Ability to translate strategy into action utilizing strong
influence, negotiation, and conflict management skills as needed.
--- Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to foster
important relationships with key stakeholders. --- Outstanding
verbal and written communication skills and the ability to
effectively interact with all levels within the company. ---
Ability to summarize complex information into simple concepts for
broad communication to project teams as well as for management
status reports. --- Broad knowledge of the drug development process
and regulations, coupled with strong proficiency in project
management practices, tools, and methodology. --- Expertise in
developing and managing project scope, deliverables, risk &
resource requirements including, Schedule / Timeline management,
Budget management, and Risk management. --- Proven track record of
good decision making and exercising sound judgment. --- Experience
using Project Management software to manage project timelines and
resources (e.g. MS Project, SmartSheet, OfficeTimeline, and
OnePager Pro). --- Strong computer proficiency with MS Office
suite, SharePoint, and similar internal document archiving
systems.Revolution Medicines currently requires that all personnel
