We are looking for a proficient Digital Art Director skilled in campaign development, digital marketing, and photo/video production. This person will manage day-to-day operations and support the development of a team of designers in the US and Manila. We are looking for someone to help evolve our brand in multiple geographies and create an Omnichannel experience. One must be innovative, maintain a solution-first attitude, and be detail-oriented.The Digital Art Director reports directly to the Associate Creative Director and works closely with Creative team members, Marketing, Merchandising, eCommerce, and other external and internal partners. This position is a part of the Creative team and works with team members in the US and Manila. It is hands-on, collaborative, and action-oriented with leadership responsibilities.This is a full-time position located in Redwood City, California. By the Fall of 2022, we expect our local teams to work in a hybrid model, which will include two days in-office.Qualifications---One must be innovative, maintain a solution-first attitude, and be detail-oriented---BA/BS or MA/MS in design or related field, or equivalent experience---8+ years of experience in brand and visual design---Familiarity with front-end development (HTML and CSS)---Understanding of Responsive Web Design and best practices---Proficient in Sketch, Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop)---Self-directed, resourceful, and able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment---Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills---Understanding of contemporary graphic design, layout, color, and typography---Film/video and narrative storytelling experience---Experience in illustration---Experience in motion graphic---Knowledge of photo editing---Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, InDesign, Jira, and Google Web DesignerResponsibilities---This person will manage day-to-day operations and support the development of a team of designers in the US and Manila---This position is a part of the Creative team and works with team members in the US and Manila---Art direct, design, and concept inspiring assets that engage audiences across multiple platforms, specifically responsive websites, emails, photo/video, paid ads, and social media---Accountable for the successful execution of brand and digital projects, either independently or by mentoring team members as needed---Collaborate closely with team members and cross-functional partners to create strategic compelling designs that meet business objectives and timelines---Contribute to defining the creative strategy and process improvements and implementation---Maintain a holistic view of the brand and competition to create a competitive advantage---Intimate understanding of the customer and their journey throughout every touchpoint to create impact and build loyalty---Stay up to date with emerging trends, tools, and best practices---Be proactive; address challenges and provide productive feedback---Support process, proactively identifying challenges and fostering actionable solutions---Ability to work with third-party vendors and contractorsBenefits---Competitive compensation, including a cash-based incentive plan---Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage, with 100% of insurance costs covered for team members, and 85% covered for dependents---Medical, transit, dependent care FSA---Company-paid life and AD&D insurance---Short and long-term disability insurance---401(k) with dollar-for-dollar company match up to $4,000---Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and other mental health and wellness perks---Paid holidays, annual shutdown week, PTO, and volunteer time-off (VTO) packages---Annual continuous learning benefit up to $1,000 per person, per fiscal year---Up to $300 flexible reimbursement to support setup of new team member's work-from-home environment---Valuable extras: identity theft protection, subsidized parking, subsidized gym membership
