The Around by Miro Labs Infrastructure team is responsible for improving the reliability and scalability of the Around product. About the Role

We are looking for a highly technical, hands-on, and mission-driven Release Manager with experience leading complex software releases. Ideal candidates will communicate risks to relevant partners, ensure that teams validate their changes on time, and resolve any pending release-blocking issues.

*This is a 100% remote opportunity for candidates based in GMT-5 to GMT+1 time zones.*

What you'll do

• Lead all aspects of release workflows with end-to-end collaboration with engineering managers across the organization
• Oversee branch control (creation, update, etc.)
• Maintain a release log
• Coordinate with product & development teams to optimize the release process
• Conduct releases during low-traffic periods, such as weekends or holidays What you'll need
  • Strong JavaScript skills including experience with test automation
  • Experience with CI/CD frameworks and tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, Travis, or similar)
  • Comfort with improvising, being very hands-on, and working with dozens of hardware configurations
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Extensive experience with writing test cases, and testing stability and reliability of real-time video conferencing products - client or server.
  • Availability over weekends Bonus Points
    • Previous experience with VoIP and/or real-time audio/video technologies.
