Arcellx's lead product candidate, CART-ddBCMA, is being developed
for the treatment of relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma (r/r
MM) in an ongoing Phase 1 study. CART-ddBCMA has been granted Fast
Track, Orphan Drug, and Regenerative Medicine Advanced Therapy
designations by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Arcellx is also advancing its dosable and controllable CAR-T
therapy, ARC-SparX, through two programs: a Phase 1 study of
ACLX-001 for r/r MM, initiated in the second quarter of 2022; and
ACLX-002 in relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia and
high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome, expected to enter the clinic in
the second half of 2022.
We are seeking a talented and experienced commercial analytics
expert to join our team as the Director, Commercial Analytics
responsible for establishing foundational analytics and insights
practices that will help enable the organization to make objective,
informed decisions as we prepare for our first commercial launch of
our lead candidate, CART-ddBCMA. This position requires a highly
motivated individual who is seeking an opportunity to lead
important initiatives for the brand in a fast-paced environment
where you're often called upon to wear multiple hats. The
successful candidate will have had experience working across
multiple strategic responsibilities including forecasting, market
sizing, primary and secondary market research, competitive
intelligence, customer engagement strategy (e.g. field force sizing
and mapping) and sales and marketing KPI development and
reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with alliance counterparts to align on methodologies
for forecasting, performance monitoring, and reporting.
- Work collaboratively with key cross-functional partners (e.g.,
Marketing, Market Access, Medical, Sales) to align on analytics and
research priorities.
- Manage forecasting efforts ensuring cross-functional alignment
on the commercial forecast.
- Drive key quantitative studies including demand study and
Awareness, Trial, & Usage (ATU) studies.
- Lead foundational market research and insight generation for
all key stakeholders (Hematology/Oncology, Patient/Caregiver,
Nurse, Payers, etc.).
- Develop platform for capturing competitive intelligence and
timely reporting to impacted stakeholders.
- Lead the development and ongoing refinement of customer
targeting, segmentation, and future call planning
initiatives.
- Collaborate with commercial leadership and alliance partners on
developing customer engagement strategies including field force
sizing, territory mapping and call plan KPIs.
- Lead the identification of sales and marketing performance
metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and oversee the
delivery of performance reports and sales dashboards.
- Lead gathering of business requirements from the sales,
marketing, and market access teams for the Customer Relationship
Management (CRM) tool.
- Work with the commercial IT team to develop CRM, Master Data
Management, and Business Intelligence tools and systems including
selection and oversight of vendor relationships in close
collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Oversee any outsourced vendors and data partners.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree and 12+ years of experience OR bachelor's
degree and 14+ years of experience in commercial analytics and
operations (4+ years of experience in sales analytics and
operations).
- Ability to travel domestically up to 20%.
Competencies:
- Experience leading and executing critical workstreams including
forecasting, qualitative and quantitative market research,
performance measurement, and account planning.
- Experience creating and defining new processes, teams and
roles.
- Experience in cell therapy, oncology, hematology, or rare
diseases.
- Exceptional influencing, partnership, and collaboration skills
and ability to drive results within a matrix environment.
- Excellent strategic thinking skills with the ability to
formulate, develop and execute strategy.
- Strong leadership and ability to drive influence across
cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience with commonly used secondary data sources in the
pharma Commercial space such as claims, projected HCP and Account
sales, formulary data, etc.
- Able to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively
with colleagues.
- Comfort with uncertainty and demonstrated ability to exercise
sound judgment under tight timelines and independently determine
appropriate action where precedent may not exist.
- Results-orientation with a bias for action, sense of urgency,
and tangible results.
- Strong understanding of legal and regulatory environment in
pharmaceutical promotions, pharma industry guidelines, and other
compliance-related issues.

Salary Range: $220,000 - $280,000
