Reporting to the Vice President, Investor Relations and Corporate
Communications, you will be an integral player in the department,
responsible for assisting with the development and execution of the
company's investor relations and media program. The ideal candidate
is an individual who thrives in a start-up and ever-revolving
environment, who possesses strong verbal and written communications
skills and strong analytical skills. You should have a growth and

be highly collaborative.

Key Responsibilities:
This opportunity is located in Arcellx's Redwood City, California,
office and is an in-person role (this is not a remote work
opportunity), The AD/Director will manage the day-to-day operations
of the department and will collaborate with the department VP in
developing and executing the IR and Corporate Communications
strategy, operating plans, and budget.
Investor Relations:
- Educate and update investors and security analysts about the
company to achieve a fair relative stock price, manage perceptions
of active and passive investors with respect to the company's
business objectives, identify and land large new holders of the
stock.
- Accurately represent and reflect the company, its strategies,
its results, and prospects in a balanced way.
- Execute the analysis for and creation of periodic feedback
reports about the company's stock price, brokerage analysts'
estimates and perceptions, industry and peer companies, and the
overall stock market and help convey these findings.
- Manage the company's participation in investor conferences and
non-deal roadshows.
- Maintain investor relations portion of the corporate
website.
- Assist with the planning and execution of the annual
shareholder meeting partnering with the legal and finance
teams.
- Manage the capital markets database and intelligence system
that supports the investor relations program.
- Prepare briefing materials for investor and analyst meetings.
Handles logistics for conference calls and webcasts.
Corporate Communications:
- Manage external agencies and budget to support Arcellx's public
relations programs through overall messaging, media relations,
thought leadership, issues management, and digital/social media
presence.
- Draft and finalize all company press releases.
- Develop and manage corporate news flow calendar.
- Collaborate across teams to support the company's attendance at
medical meetings.
- Update corporate presentation as needed.
- Support the internal communications initiative around employee
engagement and serve as a communications resource to other
functions as needed.
- Collaborate in the preparation of conference call scripts and
practice questions.
- Executes the distribution of company news releases across the
wire.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 6+ years of broad investor relations, finance and/ or corporate
communications experience for a publicly traded biotech or
pharmaceutical company preferred or a consulting agency.
- Understanding of SEC compliance, reporting and disclosure
guidelines.
- A good understanding of strategic communication, public
relations, and the media.
- A clear and thorough understanding of the financial modeling
techniques used by security analysts to project a company's
operating and financial performance and the resulting value for its
stock.
- An in-depth understanding of the financial and investment
markets.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Must be able to travel 3-5 times per year.

Salary Range: $180,000 - $250,000 per year.
