How will your story unfold? -Nutrition Services Manager RD A desirable opportunity exists for a highly accomplished professional to assist in the managing of the community's Care Center Food and Beverage Operations to ensure a quality dining experience. - This position works closely with community F&B staff to ensure sanitation and HACCP standards in compliance with local, state and federal regulations. -RequirementsOther responsibilities include but is not limited to: *Completing nutritional initial, quarterly, annual and significant change reviews on residents according to federal and state guidelines.
*Reviewing monthly and weekly weights to determine those residents which have had a significant change.
*Completing nutritional reviews monthly on high risk residents (significant weight loss/ gain, pressure ulcer, hemodialysis, and tube fed).
*Assessing nutritional needs, diet restrictions and current health plans in order to develop and implement dietary care plans and provides nutritional counseling as needed.
*Consulting with physicians and other health care personnel (Nurse Practitioners, Dialysis Dietitians, etc.) to determine diet restrictions and nutritional needs of residents. Qualified applicants -are required to -possess a minimum 3 years of clinical nutrition experience. - -State certification in food service sanitation is required. - Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration, the credentialing agency for the American Dietetic Asociation is required. - Bachelor's - -Degree in nutrition from an accredited college or university is required. - - Knowledge of HACCP preferred.
