More information is available at .Product OverviewVeltassa (patiromer) for oral suspension was approved in October 2015 for the treatment of hyperkalemia, a condition defined as elevated blood potassium levels that can cause abnormal heart rhythms and even sudden death. A potassium binder, Veltassa is the first new medicine for the treatment of hyperkalemia in more than 50 years and is the first commercialized medicine resulting from Relypsa's polymer technology platform. Relypsa is committed to ensuring that people living with the burden of hyperkalemia have access to Veltassa .Position Summary:Reporting to the Director of Finance, this position will be responsible for the US revenue recognition process and partner with the Commercial organization to develop the Gross to Net (GTN) forecast. This position will also be responsible for providing financial management and support to Relypsa's Commercial organization for financial budgeting, reporting & analysis.Position Responsibilities:Lead revenue recognition process and reporting (Gross and GTN), including monthly accruals/reserves and contract review and support internal/externalPartner with the Strategic Insights & Analytics (SI&A) team on GTN forecasting and management reportingSupport Commercial group by partnering to work on annual budget, LRP, and 1 forecast cycle per yearCommunicating financial results on a monthly basis with the Senior Commercial Leadership TeamInvestigate results with the objective of identifying inconsistencies, gaps versus targets and assessment of risks and opportunitiesPrepare budget presentations for the functional leadersPrepare Budget vs Actuals analysisProvide guidance to accounting team on operating expense accrualsPerform ad hoc analysis to give guidance and insights in support of business decisions and objectivesRequirements:BA/BS in Accounting/Business Administration or comparable experience with knowledge of GAAP8+ years of increasingly responsible accounting/finance and reporting experience or equivalentSolid understanding or Planning and ERP systems with proficiency in Microsoft toolsExcellent ability to work independentlyHigh level of attention to detail and strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated accountability and adaptability to changeAbility to communicate effectively both written and verballyExperience at pharmaceutical/biotechnology organization strongly preferredAs an employee of Relypsa, you will actively contribute to the development of potential new products.
