The incredible research and development teams in our labs are leading the way to a healthier planet with our exceptional clean chemistry.As a Product Development Manager at THG, you'll:

• Assist and manage the end-to-end development of new cosmetic products, from concept to launch.
• Provide formulation expertise, identifying emerging ingredient trends, innovations, and white-space opportunities.
• Oversee all aspects of product testing, including stability, compatibility, and efficacy studies, ensuring optimal performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with regulatory and quality teams to ensure products meet the highest standards of safety, efficacy, and compliance.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with manufacturers and suppliers, driving seamless execution of development projects.
• Support on-site pilot and line trials, troubleshooting and optimizing production processes as needed.
• Conduct market analysis to track industry trends and competitive product launches, identifying areas for innovation and differentiation.
• Manage multiple product development projects simultaneously, ensuring efficient execution and on-time delivery.
• Present new technologies and ingredient innovations to internal teams in an engaging and digestible manner.What skills & experience do I need for this role?
  • 3-5 years of experience in cosmetic product development, preferably in skincare
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, cosmetic science, or a related field
  • Passion for the beauty industry with a strong understanding of market trends and innovation drivers
  • Deep technical knowledge of cosmetic formulations, ingredient functionalities, and emerging technologies
  • Strong understanding of global regulatory requirements and compliance standards
  • Exceptional organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working cross-functionally and managing projects under tight deadlines
