As our Environmental, Health and Safety Associate you will lead or assist the development of and implementation of our company-side environmental, health and safety across all functional areas with an immediate emphasis on our internal employee safety programs.. You will play a critical role in achieving our OSHA Safe & Sound initiative. To thrive in this role, you must have excellent problem solving skills, communication skills and be willing to take on an ever changing list of tasks and responsibilities as new needs arise.
Day to Day Activities

  • Support the site by implementing and maintaining corporate HSE&S directives, standards and KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) in line with the business unit and corporate processes
  • Ensure Dexterity's Safety, Environmental and Ergonomic policies and procedures are consistently applied based on the principles of our Health, Safety and Environmental and Ergonomic policy, as well as being in compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations, including OSHA and EPA
  • Lead or participate in the updating Dexterity's Health, Safety and Environmental and Ergonomic policy,
  • Monitor and evaluate our clients health, safety and environmental programs and procedures in order to ensure conformity with regulatory and corporate requirements
  • Develop appropriate strategies for implementation of new or revised policies and regulations in conjunction with site operations management and business unit HSE Manager
  • Demonstrated success in developing/implementing continuous improvement initiatives and accountability programs
  • Knowledge and experience with HSE Regulations including OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001
  • Oversee the integration of HSE aspects into request for proposals and promote HSE services to clients, develop the project HSE documentation in compliance with regulatory, corporate and client's requirements, provide guidance and support to project site teams
  • Perform internal and external audits to ensure compliance with EHS guidelines.
  • Document EHS issues and address issues immediately affecting daily operations.
  • Conduct incident investigations and provide follow-up recommendations.
