company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit
high-value frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The company's
R&D pipeline comprises preclinical and clinical stage RAS(ON)
Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS
proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination
treatment strategies. As a new Co-op student member of the
Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding
scientists in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers
harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.
The Opportunity:
As a member of the Cancer Immunology team within the Biology
Department, you will:
* Contribute to cutting-edge discovery research with unique RAS
pathway inhibitors.
* Conduct experiments to assess how the tumor microenvironment
(TME) is altered immunologically with RAS(ON) Inhibitors,
including:
* Understanding how IO (Immuno-Oncology) agents synergize with
RAS(on) compounds in the TME in pre-clinical studies.
* Hypothesis-driven studies of IO mechanism of action in vitro.
* Demonstrated experience in executing and interpreting data from
lab experiments.
* Analyze experimental data and present results at internal
meetings.
* As a member of RVMD Research team, you will have the opportunity
to collaborate extensively with biologists, chemists,
pharmacologists, and data scientists to generate novel insights
into key drivers of RAS-addicted cancers.
Required Experience, Skills, and Education:
* Current biosciences, bioengineering, or biochemistry
undergraduate or graduate student.

flow cytometry, cell culture, immune-phenotyping, ELISpot,
multiplex cytokines, etc.).
* Hands-on experience with molecular and cell biology
techniques.
* Background in cancer biology and immunology.
* Demonstrated experience in executing and interpreting data from
lab experiments.
* Bioinformatic/statistical tools such as R would be highly
advantageous.
* Detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping and organizational
skills.
