• Date: 2023-03-10 A premiere San Francisco Bay Area non-profit healthcare organization is currently searching for a clinically confident and astute Nurse Manager PACU to become the newest member of their growing Ambulatory Surgery Center.The PACU Nurse Manager will oversee a staff of over 50 full time employees, and will be supported by 2 Assistant Perianesthesia Nurse Managers. The Post Anesthesia Care Unit Manager will report directly to the Ambulatory Surgery Center Nurse Director.This well regarding healthcare organization, has acute care hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers and clinics throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Annually the Recovery Room Nurse Manager will oversee more than 6,400 procedures in this Post Anesthesia Care Unit. The unit is made up 15 beds, with 6 being located in pre-assessment. The Nurse Manager will see a variety of cases, with special emphasis on Orthopedics.The PACU Nurse Manager will collaborate with the Operating Room Nurse Manager, and together they will run the day to day operations of the ASC. The PACU Nurse Manager will be responsible for directing policy and procedures as well as participating in staff recruitment, retention, training and evaluation.
