Job Title: Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU RN) Location: Oakland, CA Position Details Specialty: Adult Services – ICU RN Facility: Oakland Hospital Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Schedule: 12-hour shifts | 36 hours/week Contract Duration: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 36 Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Operate and manage ICU equipment and monitoring devices Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols Educate patients and families regarding care plans and recovery Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience (within the last 3 years) Graduate of an accredited nursing program Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practicing state Current certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Adapting to new environments, team dynamics, and patient populations fosters adaptability.
