heal. Roles & Responsibilities Lead and manage the quality,
regulatory and risk management programs to protect patients and the
organization Drive data-driven quality improvement initiatives and
set priorities aligned to strategic imperatives Facilitate the
monthly Quality/Patient Safety Committee and other meetings to
ensure clear follow-up and accountability Ensure compliance with
HIPAA, Joint Commission standards and federal healthcare program
requirements Coordinate insurance coverage and risk financing and
manage claims in partnership with legal counsel Serve as a trusted
channel for compliance concerns and guide investigations and
resolutions Collaborate with senior leaders, physicians and
clinical teams to reduce risk and enhance patient safety Develop
and deliver management education programs and training to
strengthen organizational capability Qualifications Bachelor's
degree in a healthcare-related field required RN, JD, or MBA
strongly preferred Current state clinical license preferred; five
years experience in Quality Management may be accepted in lieu of a
license Certification in Healthcare Compliance, Healthcare
Compliance Fellowship, Healthcare Privacy Compliance, Research
Compliance, or equivalent obtained within one year of hire required
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Healthcare
Quality and Management Certification (HCQM) or Certificate of
Professional Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety (CPQPS) required
within two years of employment Proven experience with regulatory
compliance, quality assurance and risk management in a healthcare
setting Strong experience interfacing with legal counsel and
managing claims is a plus Education Bachelor's degree in a
healthcare-related field (required) Knowledge & Skills Deep
knowledge of regulatory compliance, Joint Commission standards and
HIPAA requirements Expertise in quality management, risk management
and patient safety practices Skilled in data analysis and using
metrics to drive quality improvement Experience with claims
management, insurance and risk financing Strong committee
facilitation and leadership skills Comfort working
cross-functionally with clinical leaders, physicians and operations
Excellent communication skills for presenting findings and leading
