As Compensation Manager, you will support the Total Rewards team and organization to execute our strategy around attracting, retaining and supporting the people who are helping to create that future with a world-class total rewards program and processes, specifically related to compensation programs. The ideal candidate is someone with 5+ years of experience as a Compensation Manager supporting diverse, multi-talented teams at world-class organizations and maintaining durable and scalable compensation programs. They should be adept at providing timely and thorough support to employees and key stakeholders as it relates to all compensation programs and processes, analyzing internal and external compensation data, and working cross-functionally to solve problems using data and organizational planning. Strong Excel skills and HRIS experience (Workday, ADP) is essential to success in the role. Lastly, the candidate should be comfortable with a fast-paced dynamic environment, bring good energy, be hungry to learn, and be proactive in finding data driven solutions.. You will. Administer market-based compensation programs in a fast-paced tech philanthropy environment with multiple cross-functional stakeholders. This includes the creation of tools, processes, and communications to support our job architecture and compensation framework and assisting as a subject matter expert with manager and employee training.. Lead compensation benchmarking and market research processes to ensure market competitiveness, manage survey provider relationships, participate in compensation surveys, perform survey job matching, and conduct ad-hoc benchmarking and market research as needed to support manager planning and Recruiting team efforts for job postings and offers.. Analyze internal and external compensation data. Prepare analyses, data modeling, and costing in support of salary increase budget, promotion budget, and salary range development.. Run ad-hoc analytics that allows the Total Rewards team to make data driven decisions, identify opportunities and make recommendations, and provide support to attract and retain top talent.. Administer all bonus and incentive plans, calculations, projections, analysis, modeling, and reporting; manage our new geography-based pay program.. Support in developing and maintaining a systematic internal pay equity review process.. Perform regular audits and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.. Partner and/or lead on our ancillary financial benefit programs such as 401(k) plan administration, employee recognition programs, and professional development stipends.. You have. A minimum of 5 years of compensation experience, subject matter expertise, and technical knowledge in areas such as base salary, market research and pricing, benchmarking, variable pay and bonus programs, geography-based compensation reviews, performance management, job architecture, pay equity, cost modeling, and data analytics.. Advanced Microsoft Excel/Google Sheet skills required for quantitative analysis, including Vlookup, index match, pivot tables, tableau, graph creation, hot keys memorized, and experience with large data sets.. Demonstrated ability to think critically, analyze, listen, clarify, problem solve and work independently.. Experience working in start-ups, high growth tech and/or philanthropy organizations.. A passion for accuracy with a sense of urgency. Ability to pivot frequently, handling shifting priorities and multitasking to deliver results and meet deadlines.. Superior analytical skills and understanding of human resource and financial best practices with an interest in process improvement.. Strong customer focus and ability to partner closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams, cultivating strong relationships.. Excellent planning, time management, decision-making, presentation, organization, and interpersonal skills.. ADP and Workday experience, including Workday's Advanced Compensation module, are highly desirable.. PHR, SHRM, Compensation, World at Work or other related certification desirable..
