Donato Restaurant Group is hiring Managers at Donato Enoteca Restaurant & Cru Wine Bar in Redwood City

Donato Enoteca is a full service restaurant with a loyal clientele of followers for over 12 years. Our cuisine is contemporary Italian, and we have a stellar all Italian wine program. We often conduct wine dinners with top Italian winemakers and a few times a year organize one of the biggest Italian wine tasting experiences in the Bay Area. We were recently elected the best Italian restaurant in the Peninsula by the Bay Area News Group.

Cru Wine bar is a modern day European wine bar serving casual yet elegant small plates such as paella, pork belly, and gnocchi and an eclectic mix of rare and small producer wines and beer. With our fresh, simple, high quality food at a great value, Cru Wine Bar is a fun and lively community gathering place unlike any other. As we experience growth, our leaders are the driving force of our continued success.

We are seeking positive and enthusiastic Managers who loves to serve! This is an excellent opportunity for a leader with at least 2 years of general management experience.

As a manager, you will be responsible for leading and driving the daily operations. You will oversee the dining room and all daily operations to ensure a positive guest experience. You will work with the Beverage Director to develop a fun wine program for our guests, including in-person tastings and our wine club. You will lead our team and be responsible for all functions to ensure a smooth and profitable operation.

Duties & Responsibilities

Meet and exceed financial and profitability goals

Oversee sales from multiple revenue streams: dine-in, retail sales, wine club

Oversee inventory, quality, safety, cleanliness

Assist Director of Beverage with wine selection and education, plan wine list

Accountable for management of payroll and scheduling

Responsible for employee relations

Manage the facility while upholding our standards of excellence and hospitality

Establish and build community relations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Starts at $75,000.00+ per year
