for a Staff Software Engineer, Cybersecurity located in Redwood
City, CA. Remote work is possible, but travel to the Redwood City,
CA site is required based on project need.

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a highly motivated individual who is a
self-starter and is passionate about product security for
sophisticated and complex robotic systems. Much of this work will
involve securing software by design input and reviews, low-level
requirements generation, code analysis, as well as any processes
and procedures the organization needs to ensure the security of our
medical devices. We are looking for a flexible, self-motivated,
curious, and willing candidate to help us revolutionize the world
of medical robotics.
The right candidate should be an experienced software developer who
enjoys writing software to address cybersecurity concerns. Good
command of C++ and object-oriented development are required as well
as strong communication and presentation skills. You will have an
opportunity to lead projects from concept to release. Engage
engineers from other teams to learn what they need. Your work will
enable the team to design, build, and service next-generation of
medical device technology faster.

7 years of software development experience
3 years of developing production-grade software in C++
Strong capabilities with Linux development environment
Cybersecurity experience with commercial and open-source security
Experience in analysis of pen testing and other security
Familiarity with cybersecurity-related standards for Med Devices
from FDA, IEC, and/or HIMSS/NEMA.
Knowledge of various security APIs and protocols, including, but
not limited to, SSL/TLS and/or SAML, etc.
Experience in a regulated field (FDA, Med Device, Pharma,
Demonstrated familiarity with the open-source community and
Experience with securing cloud-based and distributed systems.
