Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company About Research at BILL The BILL Research team focuses on enabling customer centric decision making. We are empaths, facilitators, and change agents. We influence cross functional teams throughout the customers’ end-to-end journey. We value diverse perspectives and support each other in building inclusive communities of practice. Role : BILL is rapidly expanding our product portfolio. We are seeking an influential researcher with a strong foundation in market research alongside product research to lead end-to-end understanding of the Software pillar. This role will work with cross functional partnerships to understand strategic and tactical questions, craft and execute research roadmaps, and deliver customer centric impact on company and team goals. We’d love to chat if you have: • Mixed methods research expertise with 5 years of progressive experience, in a variety of methods across market and product research - with an ability to work in complex and ambiguous environments. • Great communication and storytelling with cross-functional teams and across levels. Demonstrated ability to tailor project findings to different audience needs. • Experience blending qualitative and quantitative methodologies, synthesizing multiple data types and collaborating with data partners (Analytics, Customer Experience) to provide a holistic view of opportunities and challenges. • Deep passion for unpacking ambiguous questions and understanding customer behaviors, needs, and emotions. Ability to craft actionable insights to shape marketing and product roadmaps. • Experience working with stakeholders to develop learning plans that balance short and long term needs and achieve business and research objectives. • A desire to innovate and expand your craft, explore new paradigms, and learn from and with other innately curious researchers. • Expertise in influencing others to prioritize the customer while simultaneously delivering on team and company goals. Ability to address concerns and build trust with stakeholders through proactive communication. • Experience working in a SaaS company is a plus. Nice to haves: • Experience working with and passion for small and medium sized businesses. • Prior experience working in a FinTech company • Experience leveraging AI in your research process • External vendor management experience throughout the market research project lifecycle, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring to ensure high-quality deliverables and cost-effectiveness.
