Job Description:
Walmart Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Staff Data Scientist
specialized in Conversational AI to join our dynamic team in the IT
department. In this role, you will be pivotal in designing and
implementing advanced machine learning models to enhance the
consumer interaction experience through intelligent conversational
agents. This position offers the opportunity to contribute
significantly to remodeling the way communication is handled in a
multifaceted retail environment, driving innovative solutions that
optimize our customer service operations. Develop and deploy
advanced machine learning algorithms for natural language
understanding and generation. Collaborate with cross-functional
teams to integrate AI solutions into Walmart’s existing systems.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in AI
and machine learning. Perform rigorous testing and validation of
models to ensure accuracy and effectiveness. Lead projects and
provide guidance to junior data scientists and team members.
Proficiency in Python, R, or similar scripting language. Strong
knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or
PyTorch. Experience with natural language processing (NLP) tools
and techniques. Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or
Google Cloud. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Medical
