Job Description:
At Walmart Inc., as a Staff Data Scientist focused on
Conversational AI, you will have the opportunity to drive
innovation in natural language processing and machine learning to
improve the shopping experiences of millions globally. You will
collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop advanced AI
models and implement solutions directly impacting customer
interactions through chatbots and AI-driven customer support
systems. This role sits at the heart of our mission to leverage
technology to save people money so they can live better. Develop
machine learning models to enhance our conversational AI
capabilities across customer service platforms. Collaborate with
software developers, product managers, and other data scientists to
define data needs, transform data in meaningful ways, and ensure
the robustness of AI solutions. Stay updated with the latest trends
and advancements in AI and machine learning technologies relevant
to conversational systems. Engage in the full lifecycle of AI
solution development, including problem definition, data
exploration, model building, performance evaluation, and production
deployment. Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of deployed AI
models and make iterative improvements. Strong expertise in Python,
R, or equivalent statistical/data analysis tools. Proficiency in
machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
Experience with NLP technologies and frameworks such as NLTK,
SpaCy, or BERT. Strong understanding of data structures, data
modeling, and software architecture. Excellent problem-solving and
