the future of healthcare. Job Summary The Principal Product Manager
owns and drives strategic relationships with senior healthcare
executives while leading the discovery and development of
high-impact AI solutions. They are responsible for translating
strategic alignment with the client into effective and useful tools
to transform the client’s business. This senior client-facing role
requires traveling to health system sites to lead high-stakes
discovery sessions, deeply understand complex clinical and
operational workflows, and translate those insights into validated
AI product opportunities. Principal Product Managers work closely
with customers to explore workflows, prototype solutions, and
de-risk ideas before engineering investment, ensuring that the
right problems are solved and that solutions are grounded in
real-world healthcare operations. From early customer engagement
through deployment and scale, they help architect AI assistants and
workflow automation solutions that deliver measurable operational
and clinical impact. In parallel, the Principal Product Managers
evolves into managing a team of Product Managers, guiding them
through discovery, solution design, and client engagement while
establishing high standards for product rigor and delivery. The
ideal candidate combines senior management consulting or product
leadership experience with a strong technical understanding of
LLM-powered applications, proven team leadership capabilities, and
the executive presence required to navigate complex C-suite
conversations. This role reports to Product Leadership and is
accountable for both client success and the development of scalable
product solutions. Key Responsibilities Product Discovery Lead deep
workflow discovery with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders
to understand current-state processes, pain points, and sources of
inefficiency Identify high-value opportunities across core value
pools such as revenue cycle, care gap identification and closure,
hospital throughput, and administrative operations Translate
ambiguous customer problems into structured product opportunities
through opportunity assessments, success metrics, and acceptance
criteria Rapidly prototype AI assistants, abstractors, and workflow
solutions using internal builder tools and standardized design
patterns to test feasibility and refine requirements Validate
prototypes with frontline users to ensure solutions align with
real-world workflows and drive measurable operational impact
De-risk product development by testing data availability, workflow
fit, and model performance prior to engineering investment Produce
structured discovery artifacts, including workflow analysis,
solution drafts, data mappings, interface concepts, and prototype
testing logs, to enable engineering-ready product specifications
Drive gated go/no-go decisions on whether opportunities should
advance to engineering build, based on customer validation,
technical feasibility, and expected ROI Partner closely with
Technical Product Managers and Engineering to transition validated
prototypes into scalable platform products Client Leadership &
Strategic Engagement Own executive product relationships with VP
and SVP-level stakeholders at major health systems Travel to client
sites for extended strategic engagements, leading discovery
sessions with senior leadership across departments Identify and
qualify high-impact, enterprise-scale use cases for AI assistants
that drive measurable ROI Present product roadmaps, business cases,
and success metrics to C-suite executives and steering committees
Navigate complex healthcare organizational dynamics and build
consensus across multiple stakeholder groups Serve as the trusted
advisor for clients on AI strategy and implementation Team
Leadership & Mentorship Evolve into managing and developing a team
of Product Managers, providing coaching and career development
Delegate client engagements and projects strategically based on
team strengths and development goals Establish team processes, best
practices, and quality standards for product delivery Conduct
regular team syncs, project reviews, and performance evaluations
Foster a culture of innovation, client excellence, and continuous
learning Strategic Contribution & Scale Partner with Product
Leadership to identify use case patterns that can scale across the
client portfolio Contribute to go-to-market strategy, pricing
models, product positioning, and product marketing Lead the
creation of case studies, ROI analyses, and thought leadership
content Drive standardization and templatization of successful AI
assistant solutions for faster deployment Analyze product
performance data and client feedback to inform product roadmap
decisions Represent Qualified Health at industry conferences and
client-facing events Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in
Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or
related technical field 4-8 years of management consulting
experience at a top consulting firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain) OR 4-8
years of product management experience at a top technology company
Healthcare industry experience required (health systems, healthcare
technology, or consulting with healthcare clients) Proven track
record of managing senior client relationships and presenting to
executive audiences Deep expertise with generative AI technologies,
LLM-based applications, and prompt engineering Experience
collaborating with engineering teams on technical product
specifications Demonstrated leadership experience, including
managing or mentoring junior team members Able to work onsite in
Palo Alto 3 days/week Desired Qualifications MBA from a top-tier
business school Experience building and scaling AI products from 0
to 1 Familiarity with healthcare workflows, clinical terminology,
EHR systems (Epic, Cerner), and health system IT environments
Background in healthcare revenue cycle management, clinical
operations, or quality improvement Technical proficiency with
Python, SQL, or data analysis tools Experience with design
thinking, user research methodologies, and agile product
development Track record of driving measurable business outcomes
(cost savings, efficiency gains, revenue growth) Skills &

decisions Travel Requirements This role requires significant travel
to healthcare client sites, often for extended engagements.

between $230,000 and $270,000 and will depend on your skills,
qualifications, and experience. This role is also eligible for
