Job Description:
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
practical experience. 10 years of experience in product management,
including taking technical consumer products from conception to
launch (e.g., ideation to execution, 0 to 1, etc.). 5 years of
experience with machine learning experimentation methodologies or
global recommendation systems. Experience in data analysis,
leveraging product metrics to optimize algorithms, and information
retrieval infrastructure. Experience with product quality, ranking,
and responsibility. Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in a
technology or business related field. 7 years of experience working
cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales, finance, and
other stakeholders. 5 years of experience in people management,
managing a team of product managers. Experience delivering
technical presentations to executive leadership and securing buy-in
for product ideas. Knowledge of platform ecosystems servicing

Emerging Experiences and Community (EMCO) group at YouTube builds
new experiences at the intersection of creation, consumption, and
community. As a Group Product Manager for Search and Discovery, you
will lead a team of product managers to drive discovery across
gaming, teens, XR, and a standalone new experience integrating
generative AI-forward creation. You will outline goals and deliver
impact for a portfolio including YouTube Shorts, Posts, playable
games, and vertical livestreams, while driving idea and strategy
that integrates machine learning and recommendation systems to

salary range for this full-time position is $240,000-$334,000 bonus
equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level,
and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by
work location and additional factors, including job-related skills,
experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can

and Discovery product lead responsible for outlining goals and
delivering annual impact for a portfolio including YouTube Shorts,
Posts, playable games, and vertical livestreams. Lead a team of
product managers and support a group of engineers in developing
technical perspectives on discovery-related models and systems
across YouTube. Drive development and secure buy-in for a
compelling product idea and strategy across multiple organizations,
integrating machine learning and recommendation strategies to
enhance the product narrative. Monitor and understand the engaged
landscape to surface opportunities and inefficiencies within the
search and discovery space. Represent gaming, teens, and XR search
and discovery needs in collaborations with other YouTube and Google
product areas to bring discovery experiences to new product
areas.
