requirements below: As a Research Associate in our Downstream
Processing R&D group, you will perform experiments to advance
Impossible Foods' biomanufacturing technology platform, with a
focus on optimizing process design and economics for implementation
at commercial-scale.-- You Will:
- Contribute to the development and optimization of scalable
separation techniques to isolate target proteins from microbial
- Execute bench-scale and intermediate-scale experiments with
downstream processing unit operations that include homogenization,
continuous disk stack centrifugation, tangential flow filtration,
formulation and freeze drying.
- Follow and execute equipment & process SOPs, and batch records
with close attention to detail.
- Exercise ability to interpret data into conclusions and report
to larger team to influence project direction.
- Be able to collaborate well in a small team of scientists and

etc. You Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in biology, life sciences, chemistry,
chemical engineering, biochemical engineering or related.
- 2+ years of experience in an academic, industrial laboratory,
or pilot plant setting.
- Ability to stand for prolonged amounts of time and to perform
physical labor involving lifting weight up to 50 lbs.
- A basic understanding of fermentation and/or separation
processes, especially centrifugation and TFF operations.
- Demonstration of excellent record keeping, data management, and
