We are looking for a Sr Benefits Analyst I to join our People Team at Carbon. This role will support ongoing benefits programs and systems, while providing a high-touch employee experience to our employees. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and have a solutions-based mindset. By pairing your skills with the ability to pivot in a fast-paced startup environment, you will be a key player on our Total Rewards team. Responsibilities:Provide day-to-day administration of benefits plans with the support of our benefits broker and third-party administratorsMonitor connections to third-party vendors to avoid disruption of coverage and to ensure timely reporting and funding of contributionsConduct periodic carrier audits to ensure accuracy of eligibility and enrollment informationDevelop and own the health and wellness program while supporting Carbon's employee engagement initiativesPartner and support the Total Rewards team on the development of corporate recognition programsAssist with managing benefits related content across our communication channelsAssist with the design, implementation, and administration of innovative employee benefit programs both domestically and globally, to continue to enhance the employee experience related to all areas of benefitsProcess carrier invoices and billing reconciliationEnsure compliance in U.S. and global benefits regulations at the federal, state, city and county levels where applicableFacilitate new-hire orientation to communicate Carbon's benefit programsGuide employees in making benefit plan changes as a new hire or due to a qualifying life eventAssist with the Open Enrollment process and benefits renewalAdminister workers' comp claims and support third party administrator for leaves of absenceSupport People Business Partners in the management of work accommodationsCreate efficiencies by identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement to existing processes and proceduresRequirements:5 years of benefits administration and analysis experience in a rapid growth environment, knowledge of global benefits is a plusA self-motivated individual who is an excellent communicatorTeam oriented with collaborative style; excellent at workload prioritization with a keen sense of urgencyProficiency with human capital management and payroll systems (preferably Oracle Fusion ERP and ADP WFN Payroll), Confluence, GSuite, and presentation tools (Powerpoint, Google Slides)Advanced analytical skills using MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookup)Understanding of U.S. benefit plan regulations and their impact to employees (e.g. ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA)You do not need to match every listed expectation to apply for this position.
