BlueVine is looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing Business Development team and help build BlueVine's Accountant Channel Partner Program from the ground up. In this role you will develop & execute on the go-to-market strategy for this brand-new channel by engaging directly with Accounting Firm owners to expand membership of participating firms and ensure success with existing partners. Delivering impact in this role requires creativity, superb communication skills, a passion for ensuring a great experience for your partners, and a keen focus on delivering results.

You aren't afraid to question assumptions or challenge the status quo. You continuously strive to understand your clients/partners to better fit products to their needs.


  • Educate accountants and bookkeepers on the benefits of BlueVine's partner program
  • Launch new accountant partners - help accounting firms seamlessly add more clients to the BlueVine Business Banking platform
  • Establish and grow relationships with accountant partners to gather feedback and translate that feedback into key insights for product and program development to deliver a best-in-class solution for accountants and their clients
  • Develop and test sales/marketing content and messaging to accountants
  • Work closely with Marketing to design and optimize lifecycle outreach to accountants
  • Identify and implement improvements to partner program operations
  • Advocate for accountant partners by resolving requests via inbound call, outbound follow-ups, email, and or chat
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Marketing, Design, and Customer Success teams to drive accountant partner engagement as measured by number of active banking clients, feature activation/usage, and cross sells
  • Travel to conferences, trade shows and partner office locations to develop new partnerships and reinforce existing relationships (POST-COVID)


  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in Business Development, Partnerships, Management Consulting, or Selling SaaS to Accountants & Bookkeepers
  • Goal oriented, with a track record of meeting and exceeding performance goals
  • Relationship builder - Great connector and authentic communicator with a strong ability to influence and win people over
  • Sales Executor - Track record of successfully driving end-to-end sales cycle, from initial outreach through launch. Experience conducting cold outreach to target decision makers via phone, email, and LinkedIn
  • Track record of structured problem solving, and high degree of autonomy, while driving large business outcomes in prior roles
  • Strong analytical skills - able to evaluate opportunities from strategic, financial, and operational perspectives
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (verbal & written) with the ability to think and communicate creatively, thoughtfully, and on your feet with broad range of stakeholders

  • BA/BS required
