Auris Health, Inc. is recruiting for an Operator II, NPI Instruments, Monarch . This position will be located in Redwood City, CA.

Overview

Operator II will support manufacturing engineers to set up a manufacturing pilot line for new product development, assemble instruments, execute engineering experiments, perform testing, and document testing results. The technician will assist the engineers with the pilot builds and suggest designs for manufacturability improvements. In addition, the operator may support instrument production for training and production builds.

Operator II
Assemble various instruments and assist in developing manufacturing process, assembly approaches, and fixtures/tool design
Set up and work on pilot lines to support engineers in new product development. Build prototypes and provide manufacturability improvements to engineers.
Execute protocols and document test results or draft/redline work instructions
Assist with material inventory control, failure analysis, and other compliance activities
Train manufacturing operators on processes and techniques
Support activities related to equipment qualification or process validation

Qualifications
A minimum of a High School diploma or GED is required
A minimum of 3-5 years of proven ability as an operator in the medical device industry is required
Proven track record in at least two or more of following catheter assembly processes such as braiding, lamination, adhesive bonding is required and/or
Experience in assembly involving camera/LED and sensors is required and/or
Electronic board soldering, experience in handling ESD sensitive components is required
Basic to Intermediate level proficiency in set-up, qualification, maintenance, and troubleshooting of catheter assembly associated equipment such as hot-box, UV, EFD, Braider, Laminators, Soldering Irons is required
Experience working in a clean room environment is helpful
Experience in supporting engineering prototyping and pilot builds is helpful
Experience supporting engineers on lab notebook studies or DOE's strongly preferred
Basic to Intermediate level digital literacy, such as Word and Excel is required; experience in SAP is a plus
Demonstrated ability to optimally and clearly communicate concepts, ideas and knowledge to other individuals and teams is required
Basic level Experience working with ISO requirements, GMP guidelines, FDA regulations, and manufacturing scale-up processes required
Attention to detail and basic level written & verbal communication skills are essential
