Job Description:
Title: Research Scientist Location: Redwood City, CA Start date:
ASAP Responsibilities:Use molecular biology approaches such as PCR
to recover transcripts and amplicons of interest, in high
throughput automated environment. --- Follow current molecular
biology protocols, prepare DNA samples and run NGS machines as
necessary. --- Excellent written and oral skills are necessary. ---
Accomplish goals under project time lines. Requirements:Experience
in molecular biology techniques especially PCR and/or RT-PCR is
required. --- Biology background is preferred --- Previous
experience operating Illumina devices. --- Knowledge of antibody
sequence analysis and manipulation is optional. --- Ability to
handle large number of delicate samples simultaneously is required.
Past experience with automation is desirable. --- Good work ethics
and being self-motivated are essential. --- Excellent communication
and time management skills are required.Position Works With or Near
In-VivoStudies And/Or Has Access To Vivarium
