Job Description:

Responsibilities: --- Designing MMICs that comply with initial specifications, thorough simulations, managing the project to validation, supporting the manufacturing release and qualification. --- Working with customers, product management, product engineers, test engineers and applications engineering.Qualifications: --- Solid working knowledge of MMIC design techniques. --- Demonstrated design experience in a number of the following topologies: Travelling wave amplifiers, low noise amplifiers, gain blocks, variable gain amplifiers, power amplifiers, power detectors. Experience in the design of other functional blocks (mixers, attenuators, phase shifters, multipliers, low additive phase noise amplifiers etc) is a plus. --- Familiarity with methods of thermal analysis. --- Solid working knowledge of simulation and layout tools (ADS or Microwave Office design software including Momentum, Axiem, HFSS or CST EM simulation). --- Knowledge of all characterization equipment and techniques required to characterize the listed devices. --- Ability and willingness to characterize products hands on in the lab when required to meet project schedules. --- Definition of specifications, development of test plans, working with technicians to execute characterization testing.
