DescriptionWe are seeking a creative and collaborative
bioinformatician with expertise in next-generation sequencing and
immune repertoire analysis to help us discover and develop the next
generation of therapeutic antibodies and cellular therapies. You
will be responsible for designing and implementing novel
computational approaches on next-generation sequencing (NGS) data
to identify B-cell and T-cell receptor sequences that can be
optimized for protein and cellular therapeutics with desired
binding characteristics and biological activity. This role provides
the opportunity to work on multidisciplinary teams to solve
challenging problems in the discovery and design of new biological

- Perform data-mining on proprietary and public antibody sequence
and structure databases to derive insights for antibody library
design
- Develop computational NGS workflows for antibody library
characterization and selections
- Partner with project teams to build pipelines around analytical
frameworks for antibody and T-cell receptor repertoire
sequencing
- Collaborate with colleagues as part of project teams passionate
about developing the next generation of innovative therapeutic
antibodies and cell therapies, lending analytics expertise to
biological and technical domain matter experts as required
- Present strategies, approaches, results, and conclusions to a
publishable standard in static and interactive formats
- Participate in authorship of scientific reports, and present
methods and conclusions to publishable standardsBasic
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in structural bioinformatics, computer
science, engineering, or similar with 7+ years of academic /
industry experience
- OR Master's Degree in structural bioinformatics, computer
science, engineering, or similar with 5+ years of academic /
industry experience
- OR PhD in structural bioinformatics, computer science,
engineering, or similar with 2+ years of academic / industry
experiencePreferred Qualifications
- PhD in structural bioinformatics, computer science,
engineering, or similar with 2+ years of post-doctoral work or
relevant industry experience.
- Demonstrated ability to derive insights from high-dimensional
data with complex patterns using statistical learning approaches
using readable, reproducible, and efficient code.
- Proven track record of contributing to and helping advance
multi-disciplinary team projects.
- Expertise in algorithmic implementation, workflow/pipeline
development, statistical programming and data manipulation using
middle-level languages or Python/R; contemporary, open-source
bioinformatics tools and database structures, collaborative
development skills using version control systems (e.g., Git),
familiarity with Unix shell and deployment and use of virtualized
working environments (e.g., Docker).
- Scientific curiosity with an ability to identify questions
bioinformatics approaches can address, and the skills to develop
solutions both independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and teamwork.
- Strong communication, data presentation, and visualization
skills.
- Knowledge in biochemistry or protein engineering is a plus.The
starting compensation for this jobis a range from
$109,000-$150,700, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities
(based on eligibility).The starting pay rate takes into account
characteristics of the job, such as required skills and the where
the job is performed.Final individual compensation will be
