Corporate Sustainability & Compliance Officer

We're looking for a Corporate Sustainability and Compliance Officer (CSCO) with experience in leading a variety of cross-functional sustainability and compliance initiatives with collaboration from individuals and teams across the company. You will frequently engage with leaders in our Redwood City headquarters; however, we are open to candidates located anywhere in the U.S. and candidates willing to work from either the Redwood City, CA or Austin, TX office.

You will report to the VP, Deputy General Counsel for Employment and Compliance.

The CSCO oversees all sustainability reporting and compliance programs that affect the entire organization and will serve as the Chair of the executive Corporate Compliance Programs Committee (CCPC). The primary responsibility is to lead our sustainability (ESG) program and compliance efforts and collaborate with senior management to set the strategic direction and priorities for these functions. Other responsibilities include the oversight and management of multiple ongoing programs including:



  • Annual compliance training and awareness program

  • Sanctions screening and commercial export controls

  • Anti-corruption compliance, training, and third-party due diligence (working with other departments within the Company)

  • Reporting hotline management and internal investigations into alleged misconduct

  • Potential conflicts of interest review

  • Record retention

  • Coordination of the cross-functional resources required to maintain the Sustainability report and response to ESG-related questionnaires and inquiries.



    As our CSCO, you will be responsible for management and oversight of the operational aspects of driving the sustainability and compliance strategy and ensuring that the Board and Executive Committee are always informed of status and opportunities for improvement of the relevant programs. In the role of CSCO, you will be expected to work and adapt in a fluid, fast-paced environment, and you have strong technical, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

    Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do



    • Help develop and maintain regulatory documentation - collect and coordinate information and support preparation of regulatory documentation.

    • Conduct periodic research of global regulatory issues and disseminate information to the business and to senior leadership.

    • Implement continuous improvement of regulatory compliance processes and procedures to ensure adherence to rapidly changing global regulatory requirements.

    • Oversee the collection and validation of various metrics relevant to our selected sustainability reporting frameworks and evaluation vehicles, and the drafting of our annual Sustainability Report, and collateral materials such as the Sustainability section of our website.

    • Create, deliver, and evaluate educational material and Compliance Management training to maintain a high level of ethical culture and awareness.

    • Leverage data analytics to develop supporting metrics for business processes that facilitate sustainability and compliance programs.

    • Understand the business and have the vision to develop processes that are efficient and adaptable.



      What We'd Like to See



      • Active Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) or equivalent certification

      • Hands-on experience working with a variety of technology solutions, including customization of vendor-provided training content, Hotline reporting systems, potential Conflict of Interest processing, sanctions screening services, and sustainability metrics reporting tools

      • Holds expert-level experience and uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways

      • Ability to work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors

      • Exercises judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results

      • Leverage business acumen and subject matter expertise to drive timely and cost-effective compliance programs and projects

      • Thorough understanding of Informatica priorities, strategy and direction

      • Display the highest ethical standards for self and team



        Role Essentials



        • Degree in Management, Science, Engineering, or other relevant field required

        • Minimum of 15 years compliance-related experience demonstrating increasing responsibilities over time (or combination of sustainability/ESG and compliance experience)

        • Proven ability to interact with and effectively influence others, from individual contributors to senior executives
