This position performs a wide variety of technical and manual tasks
in the Operating Room, under the direction of Surgical Services, In
accordance with the mission and philosophy of Dignity Health, the
Operating Room SPD Technician is a professional who assumes
responsibility and accountability for his/her contribution toward
the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for
patients and their families. Applies Dignity Health Core Values to

One year of full time experience as a central service technician. -
Six months experience in processing and assembly of surgical
instruments. -One year of full time experience as a central service
technician -Six months experience in processing and assembly of
surgical instruments Completion of annual safety training.
Completes and maintains required unit specific training. Completion

specific training. Central Service Technician certification by a
recognized Central Service Organization.
