  • Provide technical support to production personnel for manual and automated production processes.
  • Assemble the different manufacturing test systems in the Nevro lab and make them ready for installation at the various production sites.
  • Troubleshoot process and equipment problems. Make appropriate adjustments or repairs.
  • Assist in the automated test system development, deployment, and sustaining efforts on systems that use National Instruments LabVIEW and Test Stand.
  • Develop test systems including Hardware and Software to support production testing of implantable pulse generators as well as external support devices.
  • Provide instructional training to production personnel on equipment and processes using proper documentation.
  • Perform engineering tests and process validations. Compile and organize data to support the generation of engineering test and validation reports.
  • Perform development activities including definition of verification and validation (V&V) test plans, design and execution of test protocols and preparing reports, and yield analysis and trending for improving quality and reducing cost of products.
  • Perform and qualify IQ/OQ/PQ of test systems in medical device development.
  • Responsible for monitoring assigned processes and providing feedback and/or solutions to process issues. Collect and analyze process yield data from test systems at vendor sites.
  • Perform preventive maintenance activities.
  • Assist with coordinating and performing the repair/replacement/calibration of test fixtures at the various manufacturing sites.
  • Run ad hoc testing on these test systems and report any issues in a timely manner to help improve the systems and make them ready for installation at the various production sites.
  • Document new or modified test fixtures or other equipment (developed at Nevro or purchased from vendors) in the Nevro document control system to formalize their use in the manufacturing test systems.
  • Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.
  • Works with a variety of production equipment, small hand tools, test equipment, and precision measuring instruments such as a voltmeter, oscilloscope, and/or similar equipment. -Role Requirements
    • Associate degree in Electrical/Mechanical Technology or comparable specialized training in automated manufacturing processes which provides a theoretical understanding of electronic or electro-mechanical disciplines or equivalent.
    • Typically a minimum of five or more years of progressively more responsible related work experience required to achieve the level of competency and depth of understanding necessary to perform at this level
    • Knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the job, including the ability to set up and operate specialized automated/manual manufacturing equipment.
    • Must be capable of understanding assembly drawings, processing documents, equipment schematics, and other associated documentation.
    • Demonstrated ability to use common hand tools and troubleshooting devices such as a multi-meter.
    • Demonstrated verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, computer and basic math skills.
    • Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferredSkills and Knowledge
