Sr. Staff Electrical Engineer - Vision

• 
  
• Design the electrical architecture to support complex camera/vision systems for medical robotics, focusing on high-speed analog and digital design, high-speed camera cabling, embedded system design, FPGA, and image sensors
  
• Design, build, and test the camera system components in collaboration with the software engineering team
  
• Develop camera system test methods and resolve technical issues
  
• Work with senior technical leads from mechanical engineering, robotics controls software engineering, and other groups to bring novel medical robotic systems to market
  
  
  
  
  
  
  Requirements:
  
  
  

  • 
    
  • BS in Electrical Engineering. MS/PhD degree preferred
    
  • Demonstrated ability to build complex electrical systems for medical devices.
    
  • Expert in electrical CAD tools and PCBA design workflow.
    
  • Experience in the following areas: high-speed analog and digital design, embedded system design, FPGA, and image sensors
    
  • Experience with the MIPI standard and protocol
    
  • Demonstrated ability to design image sensor systems using the MIPI interface
    
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge of key laboratory equipment: oscilloscope, DMM, spectrum analyzer, LCR/network analyzer, soldering equipment
    
  • Familiar with embedded design and development in C/C++ a plus
    
  • 8+ years of overall relevant experience
    
  • Medical device experience a plus
