currently seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our
Critical Care team as a Registered Veterinary Technician or Senior
Veterinary Assistant. Our Critical Care team provides
around-the-clock specialized care and treatment to hospitalized
patients requiring intensive monitoring. We handle a diverse range
of cases, including but not limited to GI, metabolic and
respiratory emergencies, immune-mediated diseases, and heart
failure. From basic patient care and TLC to advanced procedures
such as oxygen therapy, total parenteral nutrition, and blood
transfusions, our critical care nurses play a vital role in our

Responsibilities: Provide nursing care to critically ill patients,
ensuring consistent evaluation and monitoring Demonstrate
proficiency in advanced hospitalization care and continuous rate
infusions (CRIs) Perform in-house laboratory procedures Skillfully
place intravenous (IV) catheters Conduct accurate and detailed
patient rounds Safely restrain fractious and frightened patients
Obtain temperature, pulse, and respiration (TPR) measurements and
maintain medical records Recognize situations requiring immediate
attention from a veterinarian Act as an advocate for both the
patient and client Basic Requirements: High school diploma 2+ years
of clinical experience in the veterinary industry as a Registered
Veterinary Technician (RVT), or 3 consecutive years of Veterinary
Assistant experience in an Emergency Room/Critical Care Unit
(ER/CCU) setting Strong interpersonal skills and ability to
communicate effectively with staff and clients, demonstrating tact,
patience, and professional courtesy while maintaining
confidentiality and discretion Proficiency in mathematical
calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices, estimates, and
other related calculations Hold or obtain the California Veterinary
Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP) within 60 days of
hire or transfer into the role (waived if a valid CA-RVT license is
held) Work Schedule : Full-time position 4/10 schedule Flexibility
required, including some holidays Overnight shift with paid

certification Compensation range: RVT: $25.00 - $40.00 hourly. SVA:
$25.00 - $36.00 hourly. Our pay ranges are primarily determined by
role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting
reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position. Within
the range, individual pay is determined by work location and
additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and
