We set the benchmark for delivering compassionate and cooperative veterinary care that enhances the well-being of pets and their caregivers.--We offer a wide range of veterinary services including anesthesiology, cardiology, critical care, dentistry, emergency care, integrative medicine, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, physical rehabilitation, radioactive iodine therapy, surgery, and urgent care.------We are looking for a dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician to join our Neurology department!No weekends required!--About the role:Master neurological anatomy and functionPerform high-quality anesthetic induction, monitoring, and maintenance for surgeries and imagingCalculate medication and fluid doses for administration to hospitalized patientsAssist in surgeries and advanced imaging proceduresPerform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, urinary catheter placement, etc.Perform and recognize normal physical examination parameters on canine and feline patientsNoticing and documenting changes in patient attitude, abnormal behavior, and changes in conditionAcquire histories and assist during neurologic consultationsPositively impact patient care through collaboration with the NeurologistParticipate in client education--Utilize practice management software to maintain client and patient records--Participate in helping paralyzed patients walk againCarrying out or setting up procedures that do not require veterinarian assistance--Compensation Range:$26 - $40 hr plus shift differentials and a $3,000 sign-on bonus for new full-time employees!Our pay ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location.
