looking to hire a new member to its Global Sales Strategy &
Operations team. At a high-level, the team member will focus on
three core components - strategy and planning, execution, and
process/operations. The role will be instrumental in helping to
shape global sales strategy and then ensuring (through targeted
projects and initiatives) that the strategy is executed and
impacting acceleration in sales. This member of the team will be
instrumental in driving efficiencies throughout the global sales
organization, as well as a member of the larger go-to-market
strategy, as an influencer across the business unit. We're looking
for an analytically-minded person that can balance operations with
strategy and planning and are not afraid to ask difficult questions
and seek the answers for them. Someone that knows how to apply the
hypothesis-driven approach to solving problems and you are also
able to analyze large quantities of data, derive insightful
recommendations and confidently present to our senior leadership
team. Last but not least, a rolling up your sleeves attitude is
very important - Box is a very lean and entrepreneurial company -
in our team, we balance the high level strategic view with actual
deep-dive analysis. A strong Global Sales Strategy Manager will be
a strategic business partner to sales leadership and the
surrounding global go-to-market leadership team, providing input
and driving projects to yield overall company goals (increasing
ARR, decreasing churn, driving larger deals and increasing annual
contract value). WHAT YOU'LL DO Work with the sales leadership team
to formulate and constantly monitor / evolve the global sales
strategyQuarterly and annual planning with the sales leadership
teamSupport strategy among outbound sales, sales engineering, and
partnersExecute a global sales strategy by working with the sales
leadership and Go-To-Market (GTM) team to ensure execution of
strategy including owning and driving key initiatives and
projectsServe as a sales perspective across all GTM functions to
driver higher cross functional efficiencies across the businessWork
with sales leaders to create consistent execution and facilitate
the sharing of best practices across teamsCreate a culture of
consistent delivery, accountability, and reporting across the
global sales teamWork towards maintaining existing sales processes
and innovation towards new, efficient salesSupport the CRO, SVP of
Sales and supporting staff for internal sales enablement events,
leadership calls, and quarterly all handsSupport sales leaders
during Box Operating Reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews to
deliver analysis neededWHO YOU ARE 5+ years of experience in direct
sales, sales strategy, or other similar functionStrategic thinker
with the proven ability to drive change among senior-level
stakeholders and leadersExcellent cross-functional collaboration
and communication skillsIndependent and motivated to thrive in an
