since 2018. This is an amazing chance to be an early hire at a
Series A startup that is rapidly growing, revolutionizing housing
and defining a new multi-billion-dollar housing category.We're
looking for a motivated Sales Associate to join our sales team at
Abodu. Entirely focused on the sales function, you will report
directly to our VP of Sales with the objective of managing customer
interactions in the first half of the sales funnel, and booking as
many showroom tours and feasibility studies as possible with
prospective customers.It's an amazing chance to be an early hire at
a Series A stage startup that's rapidly growing and defining a new
multi-billion-dollar category. We've got an inspiring, brilliant,
and inclusive team. The company has been operating in the Bay Area
since 2018.In addition to base pay, quarterly bonuses will be
earned for hitting each of three key metrics (converting leads to
showroom tours, booking feasibility studies, and customer
satisfaction scores).Responsibilities:
- Commit to Abodu's clients (and potential clients) to maintain a
high level of engagement and deliver an excellent customer
experience
- Build a deep understanding of the Abodu process so that you can
accurately and concisely communicate the experience of buying and
installing an Abodu to homeowners
- Conduct initial calls and emails to new leads to answer their
questions and push them to book a showroom tour
- Lead showroom tours with prospective customers and get them
excited about our ADUs and how they can solve their family needs or
generate passive income for them
- Book feasibility studies coming out of those showroom tours.
Feasibility studies are when we go out to a homeowner's backyard to
assess the individual needs of their property
- Communicate with the Sales Managers to prepare them for those
feasibility studies
- Capture thorough notes and work through Salesforce and Dialpad
to capture all customer interactions and coordinate the documents
at every step of the customer's journey
- Assistance with special projects outside of
salesQualifications:
- 1+ year experience in a sales role or in real estate or
construction
- Self-starter who takes initiative and responsibility for their
work and actions of their team
- Comfort working in the uncertainty of a new company, with a
consistently evolving agenda
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Experience with Salesforce and workforce productivity tools is
a plus, general computer skills required
- Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate
cross-functional schedules
- An eye for quality, detail, and a desire to perform at a high
level
- The ability to travel via car to customer meetings and project
sites
- The ability to work every other Saturday, with other days off
to compensate for that coverage
- Ability to hit and exceed sales targets; excited about making
sales and earning bonuses
- Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving
