Project Manager Job Summary: The Quality Control Supervisor is
responsible for overseeing the Quality Control Inspectors, ensuring
adherence to safety and compliance standards, and maintaining
high-quality performance in all assigned work. This position plays
a key role in monitoring inspections, enforcing company standards,
and driving continuous improvement initiatives across all projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise and support a team
of Quality Control Inspectors , ensuring timely and accurate
completion of inspections. Conduct quality audits on inspections,
ensuring adherence to company and customer standards. Assist in
training and mentoring inspectors on proper procedures, reporting,
and compliance expectations. Develop and maintain inspection
schedules to ensure efficient coverage of project sites.
Collaborate with project managers and field teams to identify and
resolve quality deficiencies . Perform spot checks and random
inspections to ensure consistency and accountability. Serve as the
primary point of contact for escalated quality control issues and
customer inquiries. Maintain up-to-date documentation and reporting
for quality control processes and improvements. Lead safety and
compliance meetings for the quality control team, reinforcing
adherence to safety regulations. Implement continuous improvement
initiatives by analyzing inspection data and recommending process
enhancements. Ensure inspectors complete all required Company
documentation in a timely manner. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual
must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The
requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge,
skills, and abilities required. Education: High school diploma,
general education degree (G.E.D.), or equivalent experience.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management,
Telecommunications, or a related field is preferred. Experience:
Minimum two years of experience in telecommunications quality
control, inspection, or a similar supervisory role. Knowledge of
underground construction, aerial construction, and/or
multi-dwelling unit (MDU) projects . Familiarity with highway
traffic control standards and worksite safety regulations. Prior
experience in training and managing field inspectors is highly
desirable. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office
(Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and wireless inspection tools. Strong
knowledge of utility placement, depths, and design print
interpretation . Ability to utilize data management systems for
tracking and reporting inspection findings. Soft Skills: Strong
leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities. Highly organized
with excellent attention to detail . Effective verbal and written
communication skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritize , and adapt
in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and
ability to implement process improvements . Team-oriented with the
ability to work independently when required. Physical Requirements:
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening , including
background and drug testing. Must have a valid driver’s license and
meet Company driving requirements. Ability to stoop, crawl, bend,
kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs . Ability to stand for extended
periods and work outdoors in varied weather conditions . May
require long and unpredictable hours based on project demands. Must
be able to travel up to 100% of the time , including short-notice
