Job Description:
Director of Product Management (Formation, Inc. - San Francisco,
CA): Strategize, execute, and align software development and
organizational goals by leading a cross-functional team responsible
for product and user experience. Specific duties include: oversee
the software development lifecycle from product design to
go-to-market launch by working with Engineering, Data Science,
Design, Customer Success, and Business Operations teams; formulate
the product roadmap through user and customer research, competitive
market analysis, and key product goals; lead product creation from
initial production ideation through go-to-market launch; assist in
the invention of novel solutions for complex enterprise products;
execute solutions through collaborative and guided empowerment; and
train and mentor team members. Requires a Bachelor's degree in
computer science, industrial engineering, mathematics, or related
quantitative field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent)
plus eight years of experience in software development product and
project management, including experience with large scale
deployments. Specific skills/other requirements Must also possess
the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable
to this section): solving critical problems on large scale
enterprise products and navigating technical tradeoffs in
applications and platform development; designing consumer products
related to digital and physical customer experiences utilizing
in-house development and purchased software solutions to create an
integrated solution; Agile development methodologies; overseeing
B2B2C product line management, including indirect customer
relationships at fortune 500 organizations and liaising with
C-Suite level stakeholders; launching consumer applications and
features by working with a large customer base and end users;
applying consumer behavior models, theories and testing; analyzing
software performance and usage to scale software and applications
for a large customer base, including individualized experiences for
end users; working with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and
integrations with marketing channels, including ESPs and
omnichannel marketing automation vendors; and working with
analytics solutions, machine learning decision engines, offer
engines, and content management. Domestic travel required (up to
20%) as needed by customers. M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 45+ hours
